Terms of service
Updated:
NoMark provides public, account-free tools for cleaning hidden characters and document metadata. By using the service, you agree to the following terms.
Service scope
The service inspects and cleans supported Unicode characters and metadata. The interface identifies local and server processing. It does not rewrite text with an AI model; removal of statistical or pixel-embedded watermarks is not guaranteed. Findings, or the absence of findings, do not establish who created content.
Content rights and permitted use
You retain your rights to the content you submit. You must have the rights or permission needed to process it. Do not use the service for fraud, impersonation, infringement of others' rights, or evasion of applicable disclosure obligations. Do not submit illegal content or disrupt, overwhelm, or access systems beyond the service's intended functions.
Permission to clean metadata does not change the content's license or remove attribution and disclosure obligations. Removing metadata may remove creator, license, or provenance information that you need to keep.
Review and retain your results
Keep your original files and review results before use. Cleaning may change metadata, internal formatting, or characters affecting display. Changes may invalidate a document's digital signatures. NoMark does not promise identical results for every document or acceptance by a particular detector.
Upload permission and service limits
The website processes non-PDF formats in your browser. PDFs require permission to send them to the server. Current interface limits are 200,000 characters for pasted text, 20 MiB per file, and five files per browser queue. Time and server-capacity limits may cause requests to wait, be refused, or be stopped.
Availability, limits, and supported formats may change. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Do not retry uploads indefinitely or attempt to bypass capacity restrictions.
History and privacy
History is stored locally in your browser and is not a storage or backup service. You are responsible for retaining results you need. Data use is explained further in the Privacy policy.
Responsibility
The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of results for a particular purpose. These terms do not exclude obligations or user rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
